Edon’s Project Management team successfully installed 313 solar modules on the roof of Millennium Place Recreation Centre. These solar panels will generate 141.9MWh of power per year when they become operational. And with a lifespan of 40 year, these panels will improve the facility’s energy efficiency for years to come.
Millennium Place is the largest recreation centre in Strathcona Country, located just east of Edmonton. It features a wellness centre, aquatics centre, indoor track, two NHL-sized arenas, indoor play space, gymnasium and youth lounge.
