Indigenous Relations

Edon Management acknowledges that we conduct our work on Treaty 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 territories in Alberta

We respect the history, languages, culture, and rights of all our First Nation and Métis neighbours. Through this policy, we intend to promote economic reconciliation, uphold the principles of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), and incorporate Indigenous relations throughout all parts of our business.

Edon will focus on four (4) key areas of the business:

Relationships

We will listen, support, and build respectful and mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations in the areas we operate.

Economic Reconciliation

We will establish working relationships and partnerships with Indigenous communities and organizations.

Community Investment

Support initiatives and organizations that help close the socio-economic gap for Indigenous peoples.

Training and Employment

Commit time and resources to recruiting, training, and employing Indigenous talent in our company.
